Documentary Films may be the most arresting form of communication but, due to the organising and coordinating potential of the internet, websites are arguably where the real tranformative power lies. The fact that film (and all other media formats) are converging into the internet clarifies this point of view.
Remember the great TV debates of the 1980's? I don't. But I've read about them. Basically, the one camp says that TV violence has a dramatic effect on people (especially the youth) and the others say no ... its just entertainment.
